Westmeath (just an hour from Dublin).Lord Belvedere's Villa, built in 1740 became his main residence after he imprisioned his wife on his home estate. The house is set within 160 acres of Parkland and within its 6km of woodland and lakeshore walks is The Gothic Arch, The Gazebo and Irelands largest folly, The Jealous Wall. The house, gardens and lakeside park is now owned and operated by Westmeath County Council.
