Lissenhall Swords - Alternative Stage Space
Address:
Lissenhall
Swords
Co. Dublin
Region: Dublin
Description: NEVERLAND, the two-part prequel to the Peter Pan story, commissioned by Sky Movies HD and produced by Parallel Films, used this 100,000 sq ft facility on seven acres as its base for a 6-month period in 2010. Production offices, stages, workshops and stores are all on site. The warehouses used as alternative stage space are partially sound-proofed because of the level of insulation used in their “cold-store” construction. The facility is conveniently located in very close proximity to Dublin Airport, the M50 and the Dublin city centre.
The NEVERLAND mini-series features a host of international talent including Golden Globe nominee Anna Friel (Pushing Daisies) BAFTA winner Rhys Ifans (Nothing Hill, and Harry Potter), Oscar nominee Bob Hoskins and Charlie Rowe as Peter Pan. The producers filmed against the largest Green Screen ever constructed in Ireland.
Breakdown of Unit Space:
Unit One: 29,618 sq feet and 32 ft in height. This unit has insulated white wall panels.
